What's my opinion of Apocalypse --

1. I do not believe that civilization is near its end.
2. I hate the comic book character Apocalypse.
3. If you mean the expansion for Warhammer, I do not play that game.
4. If you mean the paintball field in Wisconsin, I've never played paintball.
5. If you mean the movie Resident Evil, I thought it was an excellent movie.
6. If you mean the movie Apocalypse Now with Martin Sheen, it was too long and confusing.
7. If you mean the band, I've never heard them as far as I know. So I have no opinion there.
8. If you mean the Apocalypse Design for outdoor clothing and gear, it's just about the same as all the rest of.

If you mean anything other than one of the above, let me know and I'll give you my opinion.

Well it depends on the sense you mean this in. I do not think about beyond the present and planning for 5 years from now. Yes I do consider things like retirement since I have a 401K and I am looking for a better paying job. I think as people we can only handle so much. Taking things one day at a time is much easier to grasp in my opinion.

Well, as many people will say right about now is a turning point in our world's history. We can continue this ridiculous arms race, burn up the world's resources, etc etc. Oil reserves are being used faster than new ones are being discovered. Poor countries spend most of their GDP on arms, and it seems everything's hurling towards a huge WW3.
I'd have to say the fate of humanity lies on the American President. What he does now determines whether we have a real, live, nuclear apocalypse on our hands in a few years, or surviving long enough to reach the stars.
