Cause and effect essays focus on showing how events or situations lead to other events.
They can be used for Business, Marketing, Sciences, Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Psychology, Sociology, Philosophy and History topics. Writers must be able to show how events or circumstances lead to or cause others in a clear manner. The introduction of the paper should clearly state the circumstances in a brief, concise style. The body of the paper is where further explanations and details will prove how circumstances lead to others. Writers can focus on theories, events or conditions that produce further conditions or situations, whether positive or negative. This type of essay is commonly used to discuss economics theory and application. It can be used for other subjects as well, or across areas of concentration, to show how one aspect of culture affects another.
Care should be taken with papers that cover historical events. Actual events are documented facts that cannot be changed. However, argument about causes or specific events that have led to particular historical events allow for debate or supposition.
Writers should ensure that they are adequately able to link the sets of circumstances witheEvidence provided in research material or theory. Sources should always be academic or scholarly in nature, coming from experts or well known authors in specific fields of study. Writers can form their own theories or suppositions on how one event brings about another, as long as theory or academic evidence is used to back up the supposition.
The paper should begin with a proper introduction of the topic or thesis. It should be simply stated, as detailed explanation and points of interest are provided in the body of the paper. The introduction should be limited to one or two paragraphs. The body of the paper provide detailed explanations as to how events or circumstances directly lead to
others. Separate facts or ideas should be contained in separate paragraphs, with transitional statements or sentences to linking the connections or relationships between ideas.
Cause and effect essays can provide opportunity for the writer to further explore events or theories. They can also present a challenge for the most skilled writer or student.
Short deadlines, heavy course loads, difficult class schedules and work schedules all pose Potential obstacles to the proper research and composition of required academic papers.

For me, I consider cause and effect essays as quite complicated type of essay. Why? because you must be careful in every details or information you include in your essay. It is complicated because make sure you have enough knowledge on your chosen topic. Effective cause and effect essay must have lots of supporting evidence because through those evidence you can easily win sympathy from your readers.

I agree that these are difficult to write. I also believe that they can be very persuasive if you are trying to convince the reader of a cause and effect relationship by writing the essay.
